Teach your Assistant to recognise your voice

Hi there!

I've been trying to connect my Philips Hue app to Google Home.

I have added the devices to my Google Home app and it's working if I toggle it manually.

but when I go to set up the voice assistant, it tells me to add the device again.

Hi Muezza,

Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Just to check: are you using a Google Home speaker or display to control the Philips Hue devices, or just Google Assistant? If you use a Google Home speaker or display, can you see them along with the Philips Hue devices in a room within the same home in the Google Home app? Kindly send a screenshot of it if possible.

Try these troubleshooting steps:

Unplug the Google Home device for a minute > Plug back in.
Command Google Home device: "Hey/OK Google, sync my devices.".
Control the Philips Hue devices again.
