Household routine - Device unavailable

I connected a Levoit humidifier. It is linked to Google home via VeSync.

The device is available and controllable within the google app.

The device is available to be controlled in personal routines.

PROBLEM. Device is not available in household routines.

I want my device to turn on and off based on GPS when I am home or away.

Home / Away routines are very restrictive with GHome app... I can't manage my thermostat with it neither.

Try Automation ! https://home.google.com/

Home / Away status works pretty well for me in Automation scripts.

Logrog, thanks for reaching out. Are you using Android or iOS? Is the Google Home app updated? You can try to reinstall the Google Home app and observe if it makes a difference. Using another phone will also help us isolate this.
