Can't turn shuffle off

So my nest is like 6 months old and it worked perfectly till now, but now when I say to play some song it plays another song of the same artist and while playing playing it automatically shuffles the song but I want to turn it off, so what should I do

How did you get shuffle to turn on in the first place? I have a subscription to Spotify and the same songs seem to play in the same order every time I ask to play a specific artist.

I never turned on the shuffle just noticed that whenever I connect to home mini it turns it on itself and can't be switched off

Novaaaaa, I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing when playing music on your Google Nest device. Let’s further look into it. A few questions: who is your music provider? Do you have a premium subscription to it? Have you tried asking Google Assistant (on your phone) to play music and see if it does the same behavior? If not, kindly give it a try. Do you have other Google Home/Nest devices aside from this? I’ll look forward to your response.

I am also seeing the same problem.I use Spotify and I don't have premium but it turned on randomly and now I can't turn it off .
