Battery setting won’t show percentage. Says “battery plugged in”.

That's the way it works when the battery camera is plugged in with the optional power cable. We've had a battery camera for over 2 years now, plugged in. It always says "Plugged in" with an infinity symbol. The only way we can see the battery charge level is to temporarily unplug the camera. Whenever we've done so, it's always been between 77% and 100%, and has always stayed "Live" and online, except for a couple of brief offline occurrences.
