Visio soundbar connection issues

I have the Vizio soundbar (SB3821). I can control it from both the Vizio and Google apps, but for some reason it won't work when I add it to my speaker groups. Any suggestions. The strange thing is that when I try to "agree and link" it from the Vizio app, the app only searches for TVs to link and won't show my speaker at all.

Sadly this is solidly a Vizio issue, I have the SB3651-E6 , and the only time I was ever able to get it into my google home, it ended up going out of sync with my TV for some reason.
