TV audio to chrome cast

I have a 3rd party audio amplifier that hard wires to speakers in all my rooms. I then have chrome casts plugged into the amp for each room. I can ask google to play music in the kitchen and it plays in the kitchen, same in every room it works fine.
what I’m wanting to do is play my tv through the speaker group. I.e if I have music videos playing on my kitchen / lounge tv can I get the sound to come through my kitchen / lounge speakers

Hi Grantatbarnsley,

You can only cast audio to other devices and speaker groups. You can not split the audio from a video steam being casted.
