I just started playing with the Automation Script Editor and just asked myself if it's possible to restore a previously set temperature set before a door has opened.

What kind of thermostat have you ?

With my Netatmo I did :

ThermostatSetMode => off to stop the heater.

ThermostatSetMode => heat and then, the thermostat go back to the schedule.

Thank you for the hint, I have Homematic IP heaters. I'll give it a try
