Support for ecobee3 as a Starter Action(confirmed it in documentation and their rep)

Hi,

I was unable to use the scripts editor to add my ecobee3 as a Starter Action to trigger to act when a certain temperature threshold was reached.

I looked at the documentation @ https://developers.home.google.com/automations/supported-devices and the only action allowed is https://developers.home.google.com/automations/schema/reference/entity/sht_device/thermostat_temperature_setpoint_command. Ecobee does seem to have support in their api for such an action: https://www.ecobee.com/home/developer/api/examples/ex5.shtml

I chatted with their rep who mentioned that google engineer team would be the only one that could help me out. So any idea on when this might be taken up?
