operating Cync devices without internet connection

I currently have some bulbs and an outlet running with the Cync app. I just use it as a vacation timer for the bulbs and the outlet runs a water heater recirculator pump that gives me hot water at the far bedroom at appropriate times. I've run into an issue where the app got logged off, and the connection to the Cync email server is broken, so it won't let me log in.

If I connect my devices to the Google home app, will it provide control when the internet is down?

Hi elphantEngineer,

The Google Home app would require a WiFi internet connection with the bulbs.

Does it need to reach an internet server or just connect to the LAN via wiFi?
