Phone need to be on?

Hi,

I have Google automations set to turn on my lights to wake me up in the morning at 5:45. Sometimes it works, sometimes it turns them on 5 minutes late. Sometimes it fails to turn them on at all.

Silly question, but because a lot of the advice has been to restart the Google home app, does it matter that I completely turn my phone off at night?

No your phone doesn't need to be on for the automation to run. Popular times occasionally seem to have issues, so try changing it to 5.46 as an example.
