Automation for alarm to speaker group

I’ve seen similar discussions, and it seems simple.

I have a speaker group called system. I can say “hey Google, play Spotify on system” and it works as expected.

i can set a routine/automation for an alarm through Spotify, but when I choose the destination/audio output, I only see my individual devices.

Am I missing something obvious? Is there a workaround? @felipe6102 i saw you figured something out recently?

Hi Cuttlefish,

Thanks for reaching out and for the details you’ve shared. Instead of selecting play and control media, you can add your own action, then type the artist and the music that you want to play, and then include the name of the speaker group. Try the example below.

“Play (Artist), (Song name) on (name of speaker group)”
