I have wires labeled. G, Y, Rh, R and W. Can I replace my honeywell labeled this way with a nest smart thermostat?

If you have a jumper wire between the R and Rh wires, your system may be compatible with the Nest Thermostat, the Nest Learning Thermostat, and the Nest Thermostat E.

On the other hand, if you don’t have a jumper wire between the R and RH wires, your system may work with just the Nest Learning Thermostat.

You can use our handy compatibility checker tool to help determine if a Nest thermostat is compatible with your heating and cooling system.
