Nest speaker keeps stopping music?

I like playing music on my spotify through my Google nest speaker, but its keeps stopping abruply. When I say loudly hey Google play my Spotify music it says 'got it' but then nothing else happens. Also now it wont connect from my phone to the speaker. I have unplugged it twice. I hope it's not developing a fault?

Everything I touch developed a fault.

Thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your Google Nest speaker concern. We'll work together to identify the cause of the problem and find a solution. A few questions: what Google Nest speaker are we working with? Were there any recent changes made? Are you using Android or iOS? Also, Is the Google Home app updated?

You can factory reset; this erases all your personalized settings and restores the factory default settings. It won’t automatically reconnect to WI-Fi, and you’ll need to set it up again. Check out the article below to know more about it.

Thanks for your reply. I only know it as a google nest speaker. i updated my android phone which uses Spotify. Android , It is updated.
