Pixel tablet is not a hub

Bought pixel tablet right after the launch when I read it acts like a hub.

Reason: I was building house and I wanted to use it as Intercom and install it flat on wall.

I also got 4 external nest cameras (1 with flood light). Builder installed it flat on wall as a Intercom. Months after now I moved in house, I found it shows notification like your phone only. I feel like I got a lemon tablet on the wall with internal recess, that does nothing.

So disappointed, hope Google fix this broken promise.
