I purchased the Nest Doorbell some 3 years ago thinking it would be a good product. To my suprise/dismay I see the outer layer is peeling off the doorbell and it looks horrible. It's an expensive doorbell to only last a few years where it was intended to be - outside my home. The doorbell is under an overhang so not even in the weather most of the time. Google may lose me as a customer over this over this issue - I know google doesn't care but to anyone who buys one thinking this will last until it's at least obsolete - DON'T DO IT!
