That's why their first recommendation is to set the network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem to the same values used on your old router/modem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you can't do that, then you need to remove the device from the Google &lt;STRONG&gt;Nest app&lt;/STRONG&gt; or Google &lt;STRONG&gt;Home app&lt;/STRONG&gt;, do a factory reset to clear the Wi-Fi settings (&lt;A href="https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7073477&lt;/A&gt;), and then reinstall the device.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;i have new router and can not connect my google nest to it used to say it was connected then within 1sec it said no internet connection&lt;/P&gt;</description>
