So recently, my Google Home device randomly, unprovoked, and for no apparent reason, decided to stop connecting to my Geeni lights. I didn't change anything, I didn't do anything different, I just asked Google one night to turn the lights off and it said it couldn't reach Geeni. It's done this before, but it's usually just a one time fluke that resolves itself. I can still control the lights in the geeni app, but cannot control them with Google in any form. Unlike previous times this has happened, it isn't resolving itself. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps. I've even unlinked geeni from Google and attempted to link it again, but it gives me an error doing that as well. Please help. Sometimes when I'm leaving the house with my hands full, I simply can't use my phone to turn the lights off.

In that case, the two suggestions I can give are below. I'm not sure if the first one will work or not but the second one will. Sorry if it's not the answer the you're looking for.

1. Remove and re install the geeni integration in the Google home app

2. Start migrating your devices off of the Geeni app and install them into the Tuya Smart app. Tuya's integration with Google is so much better than Geeni, but, so far all the Geeni devices I've installed onto tuya app had to be done with the manual method so it can be a pain.
