topic Google Nest Mini Wifi in Home Automation

I have recently got a new router and therefore a new WiFi network, however when I try to change the WiFi network to my google nest mini speaker through the wifi option, in the device information menu in the google home app, it says “check your WiFi connection”. This is because I have already disconnected my old router so it will not let me click onto my old network to press “forget”. Will I have to re-setup my old router until i press this? Or is there another way? Thanks.

If you've already changed to a different Wi-Fi network, try these steps:

Open the Google Home app.

At the bottom, tap Devices > + Add > New device.

Follow the in-app steps.

If these steps above don’t solve the issue, you’ll need to factory reset your speaker or display, then set it up again using your new Wi-Fi network and password.

Instead of factory resetting your speaker or display, if you're comfortable changing your router settings, you can change your new Wi-Fi network name and password in your router's settings to be the same as the previous ones. Your device should then automatically connect to the Wi-Fi.
