Google home does not respond, phone responds instead

Hello.

I recently purchased a Google pixel 9 pro. I have an alarm setup in the morning for my google home speaker that usually always turns off when i say "Hey google, stop". Now, the google pixel 9 pro responds instead and the alarm will keep going. I have tried increasing the sensitivity of "hey google" on the google home device and the device does hear me since I can hear the alarm pause for a second before my phone responds then the alarm will resume.

To your Google Nest speaker you ONLY need to say "STOP" to stop an Alarm or Timer.

Is the Google Home speaker powered on?
Is Google Home set up on the Wi-Fi network?
Is the Google Home properly linked to a Google Account?
Which model of Google Home speaker do you have?
Do you receive a response when you ask the Google assistant to do something else?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried? If so, which steps have you tried already?
Were there any recent changes to your environment, such as a change in Wi-Fi network or relocation of the device?
When did this behavior first begin?
