Anyone able to find a temp sensor or thermostat that works as start for Google Home automation? I have tried multiple temp sensors that show Temp and Humidity but when you go to automation only humidity levels are avail as a starter. Not temp. I also just bough the Nest Temp Sensors thinking their own more expensive product would work with their app. Not so lucky. I cannot see the Nest Temp Sensor even available to select as a starter in automations. What has worked for other people?

I have a Nest thermostat which appears to work in the starter but I want to in a separate room from the Nest Thermostat measure temperature and take an action based on if that rises or lowers beyond certain thresholds

Any help greatly welcomed.

I use the Shelly H&T Gen 3 in scripts created in the Google Home Script Editor (you would need to join the Public Preview). It reports temperature and humidity and this information can be used as starters and/or conditions.
