Chromecast screen time is not working

Screen time feature is not working. My son watches Netflix longer than I configure. I can see in a family link, that he spent 3:30 instead if 1:30 that I configured.

i tried to delete the kids profile and reinstalled it, the problem is not solved.
bed time feature works, but the screen time does not. My expectation is that the chromecast should automatically get blocked, when time . This does not happen

What is the specific model and generation of your Chromecast? Here’s a helpful article about how to identify the model of your device.
Is this the first time you’re experiencing this situation?

In the meantime, I’d suggest the following steps:

Make sure you have the latest version of the TV, the Google Home app, and the mobile software.
Make sure you have the latest firmware version of your Chromecast. You can find this information in the article: Chromecast firmware versions and release notes.
Try rebooting your Chromecast. For instructions, refer to the next article: Reboot your Chromecast or Google TV streamer.
If those steps don't work as expected, consider performing a factory reset on your Chromecast, then setting it up again through the Google Home app. Please note that this will erase all settings, so back up any important data.
