when I try to enter the setup key it won't accept the number 22 for aa.

Thanks for posting. I understand that you are trying to set up the Nest thermostat with the entry key number. I see you are trying to enter 22 instead of aa. Could you please describe a little bit more about the situation that you are facing?

im trying to setup the thermostat on the home wifi system i thought that was clear.

Did you try to set up the thermostat by scanning the QR code that is on the thermostat?
Are you using the entry key that is on the back of the thermostat display?
