Hello, we just got a google home and I can’t seem to add a household member to my home. When trying to send out the invite, it says it can’t be sent right now. Help Please!

You might try sending again later....also RU sending it to another GMail account? When I tried to add my wife as a household member and user her Yahoo account I recall some sort of error. When I used her GMail account zero problems. One other problem I had which was bizarre until I figured it out, I have two GMail accounts. I had to add my second GMail account as a family member so I could see my rooms/devices/routines otherwise when I logged in with my second account I couldn't see anything in my home. Once I figured this out it's been pretty awesome to leave an Android Tablet logged in and sitting on the Living Room Coffee Table. It's become my universal remote to activate/statys things in my home from the comfort of the couch if I don't have my phone handy.

I understand that it can be confusing trying to invite new members to your household but I definitely wanted to stop by and see how I could help.

Just wanted to double check to see if you were still needing help on this? If so, what troubleshooting steps have you tried?

Hi,

we have not had any luck yet. We both have gmail accounts and work accounts that we have tried to use, along with all the trouble shooting that was provided in comments above. Still it is not allowing the invite to be sent out

Hey there,

Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this.
I would suggest reviewing this article about sending invites to people as it may help. Also, please make sure that you're not using a Gsuite email address as that is not compatible.
