Hi - I'm trying to set up a google mesh network (more than one point) on a system that has wireless printers. I think I want to keep the printers IP addresses the same (192.168.1.xxx) as what I had before and make them static, but I can 't seem to change the google to use that range. I can change it to 192.168.10 or 192.168.0 but not 192.168.1

I tried to contact support but the guy was absolutely useless. Can this be done or do I have to reinstall/reset the printers?

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing while you are trying to change the IP for your printers on the Google mesh. But don't worry; help is here. In this case, you can try these steps:

Open the Google Home app.
Tap Favorites > Wifi > Settings > Advanced Networking.
Tap LAN.
Change the “DHCP Address Pool” to the range you want, and tap Save. Example: 192.168.86.20 to 192.168.86.250 is the default range.
Go back to Wi-Fi > Settings > Restart network. This will force reconnection of the clients and new IP addresses to be issued to each of them.

I can change it to anything I want, except the current range that my verizon router is using 😞

Thanks for your reply. I understand that you can't change the current range of your Verizon router. For this situation, we recommend you contact your internet provider; they can assist you in a better way to modify the range of your WiFi network.
