Hi there! We just changed internet providers so need to update the network settings on our Nest thermostat. It is asking for a QR code or set up code but the thermostat is anchored to the wall so there is no cover or unit to remove.

If I do a factory reset can I do so without a QR code or set up code? I just don’t want to lose heat as I can manually control it now. I’m afraid if I do a factory reset I won’t be able to set it up without some sort of code. Thank you!

You don't need to reset it to change it's Wi-Fi network. Try these steps:
