Home app keeps stopping

Hello I am a beta tester using the Google Pixel 7 pro with Android 16 update that recently came out. I have tried restarting and reinstalling the Google home app on the phone but it keeps closing/stopping and I cannot open it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

We are aware of an issue impacting a limited number of users on Android while accessing the Google Home App version 3.28+. We're currently working on a fix to be included in a future app update. In the meantime, you can try reinstalling the Google Home App to resolve this issue. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
