Aviral, after setting up about 20+ control points in my home I have had some network connectivity issues that prevent some devices from keeping a consistent WiFi connection to GHA. My house was built in 1962 with concrete block walls, with plaster and metal lathe in the plaster that makes it hard for WiFi to penetrate to locations farthest away from my WiFi AP. What I have seen is when a device can't be communicated with due to power outage or weak WiFi signal, GHA routines run and those locations don't respond. The GHA Routines don't keep trying to talk to a device after the scheduled time to ensure the action gets executed. So for example I have an all off routine at ensures all the lights in my house are off by 12:30AM on weekdays 2:30AM on weekends. I have woken up in the morning to find one or two lights still on and believe the problem is the WiFi signal didn't make it to those hard to reach locations.

If I create a routine in the Google Home app to toggle my smart bulb based on the time of day, what will happen if there's no power at my place when the time to toggle the light on/off occurs? Will it keep on waiting until it can detect the smart bulb as online again (when power comes back) and then toggle it? Or will I have to manually toggle the bulb from my Home app or via Assistant?

Aviral, I'll through another curveball to your question. Where RU running your routines from? I started on my phone and then added a GMini. You have the option to run your routines from your phone or the GMini. I choose the GMini because it's connected to a UPS so it always has power and can activate the routines when I'm not home. I travel a lot and if your routines run on your phone AND your phone is in airplane mode when the routine needs to run the commands will never make back to your house. Will it try again later when your internet/power is restored I don't think so but I can't say that with 100% confidence......I have wanted a security feature to turn the lights on/off in my home at random times based around my desired on/off times to make the home look lived in when I'm traveling.

Hey.. I also have selected the Nest Mini to be the device on which the routines run. But sadly, not every power point in my home is connected to the backup (UPS) power, and neither is the one where I prefer the Nest Mini.

Even I have scheduled routines to toggle one of my smart lights to turn on every night, to make it seem somebody's home.

Understand not everybody has UPS's everywhere like I do. I live in the lightening capital of the US so the UPS is partly for surge protection and partly to keep my key equipment up and running for 30 mins to an hour during a power outage. I protect all my TV's, music component,s network gear, security cameras, and have added the GMini thinking it would be able to keep my lighting routines going during a brief power outage.
