We have all Google products in the home with some Philips Hue Smart Bulbs. At one point, we could tell Google “turn on the main room to 50%” or something similar, and the light would come on at half-brightness. But lately, it requires 2 commands, “set main room to 50%” with just a chime after, and then “turn on main room” to actually turn the light on. If you invert these, it will come on at 100% and then dim to 50%. Can we get it back to a single command?

Reconnecting the Phillips Hue app to Google Home might help.

With my LIFX bulb and a special routine I only need to say "Hey Google, Light 100%" to turn it on & to 100%. Then "Hey Google, Light" to turn off/on...

https://youtube.com/shorts/5z69ruHrU3I?feature=share
