Can Nest adjust temps based on my calendar events? Like a haircut appointment?

"Hey everyone! Quick question—does anyone know if Google Nest can sync with my Google Calendar? I have random events like gym sessions, meetings, and even haircut appointments. It’d be awesome if Nest could start pre-heating or cooling the house before I get back from, say, a haircut . Has anyone tried this setup or found a workaround?"

"Yes! You can set routines with Google Assistant and Nest. I’ve actually set mine to kick on the A/C 15 minutes before I usually get back from my weekly haircut 😂 You’ll need to connect Google Calendar through Assistant routines and pair it with your Nest settings."

Regarding your question, direct syncing with Google Calendar for this specific function is not currently available. However, there are two similar options you might find helpful, which I've outlined below:

As you noted in your post, you're correct that the closest available feature is creating a Personal Routine for your thermostat within the Google Home app. For instructions, please refer to this article: Create and manage Routines in Google Home.
You can create a schedule for your thermostat. For earlier versions of the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, you can use auto-schedules, which allow the thermostat to learn your temperature preferences.
