    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've been using my Chromecast for a year now, I could cast content from Android screen directly to the TV and it worked perfectly, then after a few months when I try and cast it gets stuck on "Connecting" while showing the casting icon on top. I did reset it around December and it started working again, but over the last 2 months the issue has been happening again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What I've tried:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. Factory resetting (worked the first time but never after)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Uninstalling updates from the "Chromecast Built-in" app, worked a couple of times but not anymore.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3. Unplugged the Chromecast and wifi router for several minutes before reconnecting and trying again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Updating my Android OS to the latest version of Android 15.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And yes, they are both connected to the same 5GHz network, I've tried switching to 2.4GHz to see if it makes a difference but no dice.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can cast my screen perfectly fine to my LG TV but I've noticed that sometimes the audio gets choppy and Chromecast has been much more stable.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;LI data-sourcepos="5:1-5:208"&gt;When it gets "stuck on 'Connecting,'" what exactly do you see on your TV screen? Does it display a specific message, or does it remain on the ambient screen with just the casting icon visible on your phone?&lt;/LI&gt;
