You did try Reconnecting the Leviton app to the Google Home app?

If you have and still want to get rid of it delete it from the Leviton app and then reconnect to Google Home.

I have dozens of Leviton devices and smart home lightbulbs. How do I remove a dead one ( shows as off line) without unlinking the service and readding everything?

I was messing around with this two nights ago, and hit on that idea. It works. The ability to resync a third party like Leviton without unlinking it and relinking it is key, I think.

A tougher problem seems to be that some of the smart bulb makers I've stumbled upon over the years are now out of business or merged with other companies - mostly in China. They still have a service on the internet to maintain integration with google home. So, now I have duplicate devices where that's happened.

I hope that I can unlink one of the 3rd party vendors and not lose the setup on these smart bulbs. Some of them are in eves lighting and reprogramming them won't be easy.

With 59 smart lights / switches, 4 cameras, 11 climate devices a five access points, I feel like I'm a lot more serious about Google Home than Google is.

A lot of people with this issue have had success by creating a temporary additional home, moving the redundant devices into the temp home and then deleting the temp home.

Hope this helps 👍
