Timer not supported?

Hi, I have a bedtime routine to "turn off fan in 10 minutes". This used to work until recently where google says the fan device is not added to a home (but it is.) I can still control the on/off through voice but this timer setting doesn't seem to work anymore. Any advice? Fan is controlled through Smart Life.

Hi @Snowstar0,

Thanks for posting on the community page. I understand that your bedtime routine to turn off your fan with a timer is no longer working as expected because you've been receiving an error saying that your fan isn't added to your home, even though it is. I appreciate the detailed information shared. No worries, let's work together to get this resolved. To better assist you, I have some questions:

What type of Google Nest Device do you have?

Is your smart fan connected to the same network as your Google Nest Device?

Do task reminders or alarms work correctly on other devices, like your phone or tablet?

Did you try unlinking and relinking your smart fan in the Google Home app?

Have you tried any other troubleshooting steps so far?

@SmartHomeH-TAGS, thanks for your contribution!

Any additional details you can provide will be helpful.

Cheers,
Jonathan
