"Play the news" on Nest Mini, then commercials get VERY LOUD

Using the Nest Mini, I say "play the news" and all is well until a commercial comes on, which is incredibly loud compared to the program that had just been playing. After the commercial, the next news program is normal volume again, then BOOM COMMERCIAL at twice the volume. Is there a way to make the entire stream the same volume?

Still an issue over a year later. Pretty sure my neighburs dont appreciate getting assaulted by the booming advert, the subject of which noone gives a crap about, then me yelling at the top of my lungs in a vein attempt to get it to shut the hell up. Most of the time it just cant hear me over the cacophany its playing.

If this is an attempt to get my attention, then you have it, and I will never purchase any item that is forced apon me repeatedly and so excessively loudly.
