topic Wiring nest in Home Automation https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Home-Automation/Wiring-nest/m-p/203941#M5756 <P>I’m attempting to connect my new nest. &nbsp;I’m needing some help on wiring the w1/e and w2 wires on the nest. &nbsp;Everything on the app is pretty self explanatory but those two wires. &nbsp;On the app it has me taking the W2 wire and putting it into the W1 slot on the next and then w1/E to the star symbol/emergency heat on the nest. &nbsp;The thermostat switch&nbsp;actually shows auxiliary. &nbsp;Part of the reason I’m confused.
