Google nest causing EXTREMELY high electricity bill

My apartment complex has recently switched from a regular thermostat to a google nest thermostat. This year was the first summer using this device. Since the transfer, my bill has skyrocketed! I don't understand how my electric bill is so high when this device is supposed to save money as apposed to causing my expenses to increase. I don't know what to do but this will definitely not work. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or how I could resolve this issue? Please help, thank you.

What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
What type of HVAC system do you have?
Where in your home is the Nest thermostat installed?
When was the last time your HVAC system had a maintenance service and cleaning?
Have you set up a temperature schedule for your thermostat?
Could you please send me a picture of the Nest thermostat's wiring?

Καταλαβαίνω πλήρως την απογοήτευση με τους απροσδόκητα υψηλούς λογαριασμούς ρεύματος—η τεχνολογία μπορεί να είναι περίπλοκη μερικές φορές.
