I just received my new wired gen 2 nest camera. I can’t get the camera to trigger my smart bulbs/ floodlights when motion is detected. When my floodlights detect motion they automate as setup to. It detects motion and I get the notification but won’t automate

I just figured it out. I changed the starter from motion to person and it works how I wanted

I understand that your Nest Cam (wired, 2nd gen) wasn't triggering your smart lights when motion was detected, even though the camera was detecting motion and sending a notification, but the automation wasn't running.
