Is Google now making people have to get a subscription to use the automations We Already set up in Assistant on our Google Home Apps for Google Home Speakers? I have a Google home speaker I use every single day. As someone who is disabled I can't afford another subscription and this has been a major improvement in my quality of life having this assistive technology.

Is this what's happening when Gemini becomes to standard of the Google Home Speakers going forward? If so it's absolutely ridiculous and making technology inaccessible to the disabled. Many of us bought these for a reason. I'm very confused about what's going on.

We need to be able to design automations and use our own automations already created as well. Gemini has been good, but it's been causing so many issues for folks who have disabilities in regards to accessibility and functions of assistant that never carried over.

I'm just assuming as a casual user of Google, but I think if you've made automations with the Google Home app without using Public Preview and Early Access versions of Google Home then you should be safe.
But Public Preview which would include your Script and Gemini automations along with Early Access conditions and Ask Home (Gemini) probably will need the Google Home Premium subscription.
You can still create automations the old way which have the different Personal and Household Automations/Routines by searching for "Open Routines in Assistant Settings" on your Android phone.
Google hasn't made it crystal clear what will and won't require a subscription. We'll find out when when they know what they're doing.
