Cannot make an announcement anymore, only a broadcast

Did Google kill announcements in favor of broadcasts? I have "legacy" routines that can use announcements but new Automations do not have that option.

Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you have an issue where Announcements are available in your older, "legacy" routines but are missing from the newer Automations, leaving only the Broadcast feature. I'm happy to assist.

Could you list the devices that are having the issue?
Could you confirm the “legacy” routines that stopped working?

I also have lost announcements and legacy announcements will still run on my Google home mini but not on my phone.
