topic Google Home and Matter-Enabled Buttons in Home Automation

There are quite a few matter-enabled buttons on the market (Ikea's Bilresa comes to mind) that would present a major quality of life upgrade for users. In my case, my father-in-law is bed-ridden, cannot speak clearly, and cannot use a phone; however, he can press a button. If I was able to use the Script Editor to open his shades on a physical button press, that would be incredible for him. Why or why have you allowed your competitors to "eat your lunch" by offering such integrations, but you refuse to do so? It's a simple "switch" command. How challenging can that be to integrate into the underlying Google Home ecosystem (especially now that you have adopted Matter)?

I agree, such a simple implementation, and extremely useful. Makes no sense as to why support for these devices aren't available yet.
