Chromecast isn't working.

I just have a big yellow exclamation point and under it says startup issues. I've been using it fine for over 2 years. No problems at all.then out of nowhere this happens. They say they're working on it but it's been over a week now can anyone help me? I'm not smart with any of this technology stuff

Here in England is same problem … they should give us a new generation for free just for the trouble we are suffering for more than a two weeks

What can you see on the screen when you turn the device on?
Is the yellow exclamation point appearing in the Google Home app or on your TV?
Can you see any LED lights on your Chromecast? If so, what color is it?

No error message. Just chromecast and Exclamation mark in the middle of tv. Orange light on Chromecast 2nd generation
