Chromecast removal

I have a chromecast device in 1 room. when being used on the primary mobile device, it pops up on a whole separate device with a different profile. I cannot find anywhere in any setting where removing the device from the profile is capable.

You don't have th "Remove device" button?

Maybe you're not signed in as the administrator account?

Which model of Chromecast do you have? To identify your device, you can check the information in this article: Chromecast and Google TV Streamer specifications.
Are you the "Homeowner" of the Google Home profile, or are you a "Member"?
Have you already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Home app?
Have you tried performing a factory reset on your Chromecast? If so, did you complete the steps found in this article: How to factory reset your Chromecast or Google TV Streamer.
