Google fScrewed up and stopped my ability to use nest. I have been using nest for 10 years now I am not able to use it at all, with or without google. I am totally disappointed, frustrated and ready to dump it all. I am looking for a thermostat and doorbell that works like nest without a loop through a third party, like an app that works directly to the device and my PC and android phones.

Any Ideas?

Again trying to fix problem with nest ransomed by google gets nothing but Globally **bleep** of screens with no relevance and a bunch of sign-up and send money.

Unless I get results I am done with it. I will check with Swann that I use for my surveillance systems.

Yes, Google has destroyed nest and a lot of other things. Best to look for an alternatives or drive yourself nuts trying to deal with Google. All they want is to take the money and to hell with the people that they don't care anything about the problems with their money grubbing products.

Swann doesn't have smart home integration anymore. You've been screwed twice.

With Reolink I get verbal notifications on my speakers that motion has been detected and I'm hopeful that they could soon trigger automations too 🤞
