Unable to control lights on/off on Google home

Help! My Google home has been unable to on/off lights via voice command after the recent updates. Assistant returned message like "let me search..." However I am still able to manually on/off the lights from the light group in Home. Individually the lights has no on/off function in Home except to adjust brightness and colour.

Everything works fine in its smart life app.

Anyone has a solution to this? I've factory reset, unlink, relink accounts multiple times.

Hey Eldaazure,

I know how difficult it is if your device is not working the way it should — let me help you out.

A quick question: what's the make and model of your lights? Try rebooting your Google Home and router to refresh the connection. Once done, say the voice command, “Hey Google, sync all devices."
