Nest connect

I am not able to add "nest connect". It is telling me to press button to get the yellow light and then the blue light. I have done it many times. It is still not connecting.

Thanks for visiting the Community. I'm sorry to hear that and for the delayed response. Let's sort this out — a few questions:

How far is your Connect from the lock and router?
Have you tried plugging it into another wall outlet?
What WiFi frequency band do you try to connect to (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)?
Do you have an Android or iPhone?

Try the troubleshooting steps here:

Try plugging your Connect into a different outlet that’s about halfway between your lock and router.
Restart your Connect:

Plug Connect into a power outlet.
Hold down Connect’s button until the light pulses blue (about 10 seconds). Then release the button.
Wait for Connect’s light to turn green, which means the restart is complete.

If the Nest Connect still doesn’t work after a device reboot, factory reset your Connect:

Hold the wake button down for 13 seconds or until the LED turns solid yellow .
Once the LED turns a solid yellow, continue to hold down the wake button for another 10 seconds. If the button is released before the 10 seconds are up, the factory reset will fail.
1. To cancel, press the button again.
After 10 seconds, release the button. The LED will stop and the settings will now be erased. Then, try pairing your Connect again to your Nest app.
