New Philips Hue Bridge Not Linking to Google Home

I recently replaced my Philips Hue Bridge and everything is working correctly through the Hue app. Every time I try to link Philips Hue to Google Home it appears to link and the I get the message “Something has gone wrong, try again”. Not sure what else to do.

Thanks for reaching out and that certainly hasn't been easy for you.

Could you try checking if you can unlink your Philips Hue on the Google Home app?

Make sure the mobile device is connected to the same Wi-Fi or linked to the same account as the Google Home or Google Nest device. Open the Google Home app.
At the top right corner of the screen, tap the account icon.
Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to the Google Home or Google Nest device.
To switch accounts, tap another account or Add another account.
Then tap Assistant Settings > Home Control. Under Linked services at the top, tap the service partner that is having issues, Unlink account > Unlink.
If the issue persists, try reinstalling your Google Home app.

The previous Hue bridge was unlinked. The issue is the new bridge I purchased will not link and gives me an error.

Thanks for letting us know. Could you try reinstalling your Google Home and Google Assistant app? Also, rebooting your phone, Google Home and Philips Hue bridge might help too.

Hi Alex - yes, I have tried everything and still unable to link the Phillips Hue app to Google Home.

Apologize for the delays. Chiming in to ensure everything is covered here. I understand you're getting an error under the Google Home app when linking Philips Hue, the URL portal used to link partners with Google Home is managed by the partners themselves. Whenever we encounter errors with linking a partner like Philips Hue, they should be able to support it as they are expected to support the integration of their products with Google Home.
