Hi there,

This might be obvious for someone understanding the mesh system properly. I just wanted to make sure. Does the signal strength of individual Wi-Fi points depend on the proximity to the router or also other Wi-Fi points?

Thanks for posting and sorry for the delay.

The Wi-Fi signal of each Google Wifi point is independent from each other, however, the Internet speed is dependent on several factors which are not limited to the distance from the main point, interference (concrete, bulletproof glass, metal, mirror, etc.), Internet speed from your Internet Service Provider, number of connecting devices, and internet usage.
