There are definitely some Google Home-capable speakers that have batteries as well as AC power (the first party Google devices all are AC powered, so far as a know). I have an Insignia cast-enabled speaker that acts pretty much like a Google Home, battery life isn't great (about 3-4 hours of music playback, e.g.) but it works for the back 40 in the yard.

@Bubai, Nest speakers don’t have any built-in battery as of yet, but this is going to be a great addition. I'd suggest you submit feedback about it, here's how.
