I'm 90% sure you have to reset your Chromecast and set it back up. It's silly but I have had to do the same thing in the past.

@Acidtaz is correct. You can do a full reset and connect as new again.

@JillG, thanks for the help.

@@ Tariqsubhi, @Acidtaz, if you haven’t done a factory reset yet. Then follow the steps below:

Through the Google Home app

Open the Google Home app .
From the home screen, tap on the Chromecast device to be checked.
At the top right, tap Settings.
Tap Device information.
Under Wi-Fi, the network name where the device is connected should appear.

Through the Chromecast device

Reboot the Chromecast device.
Watch the screen as it boots up.
During the boot up process, the Chromecast should display which network it's connected to on the screen.

If the above stops won’t do, then proceed with the factory reset.
