I would like to know on the heat plus cool setting, If you can alternate the temps, and make cool, cooler than hot instead of how it makes the heat drop lower when cool is dropped lower. I drop cool down passed 70 when heat is at 70 and heat drops lower by 2-3 degrees. Is there anyway to make it do the opposite?

Hello Kman2480,

Thanks for reaching out. I'd be happy to discuss with you the temperature modes.

The Heat + Cool mode is only use if you require heat and cool on the same day. Your system calls for either heat or cool to keep your home within your desired temperature range. Your thermostat will maintain your target temperature and will trigger the system to turn on when it's above or below 2-3 degrees from your target temperature.

Please let me know if that helps.

Best regards,

Mark

Yes I get that. But how it is set up I want it to be set up the opposite. So warm is Orange right and cold is blue. Blue is on the right side of the dial and orange is on the right. I'm trying to see if it can be the opposite, blue/cool on the lower setting and warm/orange on the higher setting. I don't believe it is possible but would like it to be or like to know how if it is.

Hi there,

Gotcha! Thanks for clarifying and I like your thinking.

The option to change or to customize the temperature screen is yet to be supported for the Nest thermostats. I can see how it could be helpful for other users as well, especially for better experience. We appreciate users who are keen to share with us their insights and we'll be sure to pass this to the right team. Stay tuned to the Google Nest Community page for updates.

Feel free to let us know if you have more questions in mind.

Best regards,
