Google says down load google home but it down loaded but after 3 times saying he google it finally connects but to turn off you have to switch power point off

I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should, let’s get this resolved A few things: Which Nest speaker? Were you able to complete the set up? If so, what is the exact message that you are getting from your Nest speaker?
